Monster Jam

Beatles vs. Stones – A Musical Shootout
Saturday, January 10th
8pm at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano.
The two greatest rock ‘n’ roll bands go head to head in a battle of the tribute bands. Check out Abbey Road and Jumping Jack Flash play six alternating sets of hits before joining together on stage to share an encore.

Irvine International Film Festival
January 16th-22nd

Dine Newport Beach Restaurant Week
January 19th – February 1st

Ocean Institute’s Jazz Festival
January 23rd-25th
The Ocean Institute’s popular jazz fundraising weekend event combines renowned jazz artists with an elegant evening of fine dining, cocktails, and live and silent auctions. Performances this year from Rick Braun & Friends, Norman Brown and Elliott Yamin, with special guests DW3 on Sunday.

SoCal World Guitar Show
January 24th-25th

New, used, old and rare musical swap meet, with retail stores, vintage dealers, manufacturers, collectors, builders, parts purveyors, clothing, books, guitars, amplifiers, banjos, mandolins, violins, sound equipment, appraisers, domestic and foreign buyers. Attendees may bring in all they can carry to sell, trade or have appraised.

Aliso Viejo Snow Fest
Saturday, January 24th
10:30am-3pm
The Aliso Viejo Town Center Grand Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with over 50 tons of magical snow. Entry is $5 per person and free for children under the age of 1. To register for the event and find out more information, check out the event page on the city website.

Lake Forest Snow Fest
Saturday, January 24th
11am-4pm
SnowFest returns on Saturday January 24th, bigger then ever, with 75 tons of snow. Get ready to climb and slide down Mount Pittsford at the greatest snow day celebration in Orange County held at the Lake Forest Sports Park and Recreation Center. Along with the snow there will also be carnival rides, balloon artist, face painters, game booths and surprises. Be sure to bring your camera as there will be special guests from all over the galaxy and frozen friends.

Family Pops Concert
Saturday, January 31st
11am
This exciting, 40 minute concert with character skits from student actors is geared toward children of all ages. After the concert, take the kids to Concordia’s free outdoor carnival games. Admission is free and the event will be held at the Concordia University Center for Worship and Performing Arts.
