This week is the 7th annual Orange County Restaurant Week. There are over 130 eateries participating with delicious menus for every taste pallet and budget. So start browsing restaurants and menus – it’s going to be a mouthwatering week!

Downtown Fullerton Art Walk 5-Year Anniversary Event
Friday, March 5th
6PM-10PM
Art venues, artists and the community come together in one place on one night to celebrate one thing: The Arts in Fullerton. The Downtown Fullerton Art Walk will commemorate its landmark 5th Anniversary with a monumental art event at the Fullerton Museum Plaza in Fullerton. It’s all ages, free to the public and attracts over 2,000 art enthusiasts to the city for the celebration.

Dana Point Festival of Whales
March 7th-8th & 14th-15th
Held at the Dana Point Harbor
Brought to you by OC Parks, the 44th annual Festival of Whales is all about celebrating the beauty of Dana Point’s local treasure – the whale. Both weekends include dozens of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy including art in the park with a giant origami whale sculpture being created over both weekends, historical society walking tour, classic cars and vintage boat displays, Polynesian Connection – a day of culture, entertainment, music, food and dance, whale watching the 10 and 5K Gunion Run, street fair, Rubber Ducky Derby, sand sculpting competition and so much more. Twilight Tasting: Taste of Brews

Rock Star Beer Festival

6PM-9PM at the Yost Theater
Celebrating craft beer and live music, the Orange County Beer and Music Festival is a collaborative effort of Rockstar Beer Productions and local breweries to raise money for breast cancer research. The event will showcase multiple local and regional breweries as well as local bands and DJ’s. The event will be held at and around the Yost Theater with an after party at the nightclub. Up in the Air Festival
Saturday, March 14th
11AM-4PM
This unique festival for Mission Viejo and the surrounding areas showcases everything that goes Up in the Air or uses air to operate. Held at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, the festival will include professional kite flyers (yes, they do exist), disc dog shows, various flying contests, nonprofit food booths, kids crafts, a bubble station, exhibitors and entertainment. Leprechaun Leap 5K

The 3rd Annual Leprechaun Leap 5K will be held at The Tustin Hangar and the District at Tustin Legacy. The event welcomes walkers, strollers, dogs, individuals, and teams. Awards will be given for the fastest time and the best costume so get crazy with your St. Patty’s day pride. St. Joseph’s Day and The Return of the Swallows Celebration

St. Joseph’s Day and the Return of the Swallows Celebration is a world-renowned tradition celebrating the annual return of the famous swallows to Capistrano. The annual celebration includes live mariachi music, community presentations, local school performances, Flamenco dancing, food vendors, basket weavers, activities for kids and more. Musink Music and Tattoo Festival

Held at the Orange County Fairgrounds
Get excited for the 8th Annual Musink Festival presented by Travis Barker. Kid’s Fishing Derby
Saturday, March 21st
9AM-12PM at Mile Square Park
The North Lake at Mile Square Park will be stocked with trout and catfish for the annual Kid’s Fishing Derby. Kids ages 6-15 can fish for free and compete to win multiple prizes with finalists and champions in a variety of different age groups. Registration will take place from 7:30 to 8:30AM with the Derby starting promptly at 9AM.

Firkfest: Cask Beer Festival and Chili Cookoff
Saturday, March 21st
12PM-4PM in Anaheim
Orange County finally gets its own Cask beer festival thanks to the OC Beer Blog. Enjoy unlimited 2-4oz cask pours from over 30 Socal Craft Breweries. Plus you can taste and judge 10 local restaurants going head to head in the chili cookoff. It’s at the park so bring a towel, blanket or small folding chair and get ready to lounge. The Packing House will also be open during the event for dinging.

Marvel Universe LIVE!

Held at the Honda Center
To defeat Loki, Marvel’s biggest Super Heroes must band together, including The Avengers, and trek across the globe to retrieve the Cosmic Cube fragments and unite them. This live action super hero show will feature more than 25 Marvel heroes and villains in a mind-blowing original story that brings the everyone together in one new production. The show includes martial arts, aerial stunts, motocross and some impressive pyrotechnics.

Anaheim Citrus Festival

This day of fun is just what it sounds – all about citrus. Crabfest 2015

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival 2015

To celebrate the berry that made Knott’s famous and the entire spring season, come to the Boysenberry Festival in Ghost Town. As part of the festival, inside Wilderness Dance Hall guests will find a variety of boysenberry inspired gourmet food and wine offerings from around the world.
